The Endless Blue is the new release of Berlin based producer and drummer Stefan Korn and his project Dubdiver.
Sticking with his sound and representing Vol. 2 of his Ambient Reworks, this fifth album of Dubdiver again explores Ambient-Electronica from luscious soundscapes to soothing vibes through time and space.
The Endless Blue calls upon the listener to get lost in hypnotic arpeggios and flowing atmospheres.
On it’s journey the album runs through glittering synths, deep pulsing dub tracks, atmospheric tapestries and soft rhythms.
Recommended for all who appreciate deeply layered explorations in the realms of Ambient, Dub and Chill-Out, The Endless Blue is sure to entertain your senses in more ways than one.
Producer and Drummer Stefan Korn is an artist with decades of musical experience. His love for music spans multiple genres and led him to explore the realms of Ambient, Downtempo and Chill-House, all fused with a passion for softly textured sound design. His sound meanwhile has been featured on nearly 250 releases.
With his project Dubdiver Korn creates music with heart and beauty, blending styles and flavors in search of the very moment...
“Music is a part of me, my blessing and sometimes my curse. At times, compositions lead me to feelings of absolute bliss, sometimes I have to eke out others, but I should not complain. I still live music with all my hopes and dreams, despite of the difficulties of being an artist”.
The Endless Blue fuses organic instrumentations with digital symphonies of programmed beats, warming spaces with lit sound journeys, subsonic frequencies and uplifting feels.
The opening track Agua Luna offers dreamy melodies, sparkling piano lines and harp-glissandi.
Singer and long-time companion Anja Oehming again joins Dubdiver, this time lending her classical trained voice for O Mio Babbino Caro, an aria written by Giaccomo Puccini. Oehming’s intense vocal performance enriches Dubdiver’s vision of one of the most successful arias in opera music.
Astral Traveller evokes sun-drenched Ibiza feelings, The Endless Blue, Dubwise (featuring Herb-T of Cosmic Orient) and Sommos Aguas are Liquid-Meditations/Ambient mixes of songs from the albums Box of Secrets and Mind Travels and bring in a slew of far-flung instruments, from the sitar and sarod to the Indian flute and tabla.
Finally a new remix of Elevando for Ornah-Mental (a project of Dirk Schlömer, former guitar-player of Germany’s famous agit-prop-band Ton, Steine, Scherben) is landing the spaceship back on terra firma. While Dubdiver’s Horchata-Mix of Elevando has been released on Ornah-Mental’s album Remix and Outtake, The Endless Blue features Dubdiver’s new Amygdalota-Rework.
The Endless Blue is an essential listen and gives fans of Ambient Electronica a wealth of sounds and styles wrapped up in a shiny, little package.
Carrying the mood dreamily off into the night, The Endless Blue moves the heart of the listener so deeply that you want to listen to it again and again...

With different facettes of sound ranging from Deep Chill to Broken Beats to Balearic seashore moods producer and Dubdiver mastermind Stefan Korn once again creates a personal hideaway and islands of relaxation with the album Mind Travels.
The worldmusic influenced electronic music blends authentic native instruments from numerous cultures with modern beats.
It’s a subtle melange of synthesis and organic instrumentations, at times transcendent and deep, at times with a mellow Downtempo rhythm to keep your feet on the ground.
With dynamic changes full of liquid dub basslines, glittering sounds and subtle filtered evolutions Mind Travels softly triggers the listeners imagination.
Since the release of his album Liquid Meditations Stefan Korn has been busy:
his “Berlin-Springtime-Mix” of the song "Kish-Mish" for Usbekistan singer, DJ and producer Alfida reached the iTunes-Charts. Korn again wrote music for German TV’s series of culture-clips “Global Vision” this time featuring the sounds of Bhutan and Papua-Newguinea.
Futhermore Korn joined the “24 Loops” remix-competition, recreating the 3rd Movement of Dvorack’s symphony “From the New World” for German “Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester” and did a remix for “Ornah-Mental” of Dirk Schlömer, former guitar-player of Germany’s famous agit-prop-band “Ton, Steine, Scherben”.
Switching from the ambient sounds of Liquid Meditations Korn now returns to Global Beats with Mind Travels:
This groovy and melodic junction of Oriental, Asian and European music styles expresses a European view on and appreciation of various Eastern music traditions. At the center of Dubdiver’s tracks is the flow: deep rhythms, spheric ambient landscapes,
modulated field recordings and dubby chords are all parts of his music.
Mind Travels is a sun-flooded caleidoscope of styles and textures, an interpretation of the many facets that can be manifested through global beats:
Singer Anja Oehming again joins Dubdiver. Her voice flies like a soft breeze around “Tender Attention”, a song infused with warm sub basses, sparkly sounds and slow grooves.
New to Dubdiver is Agnieszka Les, a filmmaker from Canada: While she was working on her film “Where is home?” about third culture kids, she met Stefan and chose his track “Transitions” for the soundtrack. In return she now contributes her multilingual words and voice to the hypnotic track “Water of Live”.
Dubdiver’s Mind Travels open your mind for a truly adventurous trip.
It’s a wonderful soundtrack for your next excursion and takes you away on an inspiring journey that you wish would go on and on...

LIQUID MEDITATIONS-AMBIENT REWORKS is Dubdiver's third artist album. It's a lush and dreamy musical journey fusing relaxing electronica and rich ambient textures. It sets you into some very calm zoned out mode, relaxing and mellow in almost a spiritual feeling. The AMBIENT REWORKS just surround you until you may dream dreams and drift into subconsciousness.
Since the release of his album Liquid Meditations Stefan Korn has been busy:
LIQUID MEDITATIOMS presents and evolves musical ideas from Dubdiver’s albums BOX OF SECRETS and FLOATING BEATS and two new tracks in a more ambient and chill-out style combined with fresh musical elements.
“While I was writing the music for BOX OF SECRETS I realized that a lot of Dubdiver soundscapes unfold something magic when played without all the beats and percussion. On LIQUID MEDITATIONS I wanted them to give complete expression, to have the space to evolve and to present them in an ambient setting.
The deeper I got into the ambient world, the more these tracks emerged their own life” says Korn. The resulting tracks sound like they’d been originally written for ambient music.
The AMBIENT REWORKS are completed by two new tracks:
“Drop of Dew” emerged on Ibiza during a session with musician Bahramji:
His Rumi-Vocals and meditative Santoor-Playing were recorded there.
With the title-track “Liquid Meditations” singer Anja Oehming once again unfolds her versatility:
She weaves some unique classical vocal lines on top of levitating piano-scapes.
This organic album features brilliant sound design, it’is intimate, reflective and deeply touching. It flows from beginning to end and will keep you interested the whole way. LIQUID MEDITATIONS invites you to explore and to dive deep into the lush and ambient soundscapes of Neptune’s garden!
Box Of Secrets
Evolving his combination of chilling Downbeat and Globetronica Dubdiver’s release “Box of Secrets” increases his palette of sounds. This album navigates through an ocean of musical elements from Southern Europe to North Africa over the Middle East to the Far East.
“Walking the streets of Berlin can set me into very different moods, depending on which kind of music I listen to”. Living in the city centre of Berlin – a melting pot of so many different cultures – diverse musical sounds and styles can be heard at every street corner. Often it is only a few steps’ walk from the corner shop playing Turkish music to the Punjabi restaurant, where Bhangra rhythms fill the air. Nevertheless the basis of Dubdiver’s music is not World Music, it is Electronica. Global sounds and rhythms add all kinds of moods to it – playful, seductive, soothing, vital.
“I’ve always wanted to write music, that creates intense moods and working with electronic instruments seems to be a great way to evolve my musical ideas – it gives me an incredible freedom of sounds. And when it comes to rhythm there’s a lot you can do with drums and percussion, you can layer all kinds of rhythms, you can filter drum-fills and send them through delays and create mellow dubby and intense textures.”
Dubdiver composes ambient symphonies one can plunge deeply into as well as he is creating powerful rhythms with dubby bass lines. Still keeping to his trademarks of panoramic filtered delays on levitating pads Dubdiver this time adds more uptempo, clubby grooves. With the albums’ bonus track “Salida del Sol” mix of “Floating on Love” Dubdiver even proves his ability of setting his foot onto the Chill House floor.
Box of Secrets again features a cast of musical collaborators:
Co-conspirator on the mic was Anja Oehming on the floating and intuitive opening track “Box of Secrets”. She also appeared on the debut.
“Prosphorion” features Christiane and her sweet memories of lands afar – just like on the track “Dotted Diary” from the first album.
Arndt Bethke, commonly playing Bach on his guitar, gives a warm Spanish feeling to “La Ninfa”.
Herb-T, MC, producer, DJ and mastermind of the London and Frankfurt based Global Beats act Cosmic Orient praises Love, Peace and Unity on the Dancehall and Ragga inspired song “Golden Treasure”.
Introducing the Greek singer and actress Anatoli Tsampa: with her sweet and blandishing voice she sings a love story from the Greek island Mykonos on “Floating on Love” – a playful melody accompanies her sweet and seductive greek whisper. Her voice also works perfectly with the Chill House version of this song – the “Salida del Sol Mix”.
“A Hundred Colours” might represent Dubdiver himself best possible: a firework of energetic rhythms filled with the sweetest and most seductive Sarangi strings make this Box of Secrets complete.
With his debut “Floating Beats” Dubdiver was able to establish himself internationally in Global Beats / World Lounge music within only a few months time.
The athmospheric sound combines musical elements of Downbeat, Drum & Bass and Global Beats. His musical journey leads the listener to soft, but still grooving soundscapes. Dancehall and Trip-Hop vibes touch the Orient, breakbeats contest with Sitar and acoustic guitars, electronic sounds breeze around Tabla-beats.
By combining contemporary electronic music with indigenous instruments warm soundpaintings originate. Live-played and programmed sounds complement one another and are being filtered, edited and newly assembled till a new homogenous and organic sound arises.
Corresponding to this idea, Korn was able to transpose other friend musicians contributions into the Dubdiver-sound:
“Shine” was a U.K. No.1 Hit of reggae-act Aswad back in the nineties which they wrote together with Joe Cang, London-based producer and bass-player of Scritti Politti and Galliano. On Floating Beats you’ll find a remix of Joe Cang’s new interpretation.
Singer Anja Oehming graduated in classical singing. With her warm voice she shapes the tracks “Desert Land” and "Eternal Calling".
Sitar-player Mirkoji Nolten learned to play the sitar on his numerous and extensive jouneys to India.
Singer and actress Valeska Rautenberg with her charismatic voice gives a very special character to “Reverie”.
Singer, bass-player and writer René Rose inspired “Feel the Flow” with the prologue of his book “Aarons Lounge”.
Guitar-player and actor Steffe Köhler in his own special open-tuned style contributes a flowing guitar theme to “Surya Mangalam”.
Trying not to sound downright or too polished, “Floating Beats” may invite you for a drive into the sunset…
The sound of Dubdiver has been featured on more than 200 releases, such as:
The music of Dubdiver has been featured in "Global Vision", a series of culture clips of German TV channel ZDF. Please find some of the clips below.
Videos for Global Vision are produced by Blue Flame Records, music produced by Dubdiver.
Dubdiver is a Berlin-based music project creating sounds of chill-out, global beats and ambient electronica. The tracks of drummer and producer Stefan Korn and his co-musicians have been featured on more than 200 releases and synched for German TV ZDF series of culture-clips Global Vision.
“It’s always great to combine all those various instruments and sounds and to explore, how I can melt them into a new track”, says Stefan Korn, Dubdiver’s Berlin-based producer and mastermind.
Meanwhile his sound has graced more than 200 releases worldwide. He also continously writes music for german tv’s series of culture-clips “Global Vision”. “Writing for Global Vision offers a great way for me to show the visual potential of my music”, says Korn.
Korn started his musical career as a drummer: At the age of 4 Korn got his first drum which led him to take drum lessons at the age of six. As a teenager he started touring and later releasing with various bands. Tours from the Baltic Sea to Switzerland lead him from the tiniest club gig to the stage of Berlin Arena Velodrom, followed by several CD releases and accompanied by the co-operation with Uwe Hoffmann (Producer of “Die Ärzte”) and Jean Beauvoir (Crown of Thorns/Little Steven). The organic use of samplers and sequencers in live-presentation aroused his interest in producing electronic music.
One more influence contributed to Dubdiver's sound: Already as a child Korn loved the sound of medieval songs and instruments- this interest was replaced by Rock'n'Roll, but “when the Asian Underground / Global Beats thing came along it musically felt like coming home”.
And finally there's the city of Berlin: “Walking the streets of Berlin can set me into very different moods, depending on which kind of music I listen to”. Nevertheless the basis of Dubdiver’s music is not World Music, it is electronics. Global sounds and rhythms add all kinds of moods to it – playful, seductive, soothing, vital.

Dubdiver is an open studio-project: Corresponding to the idea to create an addition of live-played and programmed parts of music, Stefan Korn was able to inspire other friends and musicians to work with him on the transposition of the DubDiver sound. Co-conspirators so far have been:
Anatoli Tsampa – Vocals
Anja Oehming – Vocals
Arndt Bethke – Guitar
Agnieszka Les – Words
Bahramji – Vocals and Santoor
Christiane – Vocals
Herb-T (Cosmic Orient) – Vocals
Joe Cang – Vocals & Guitar
Mircoji Nolten – Sitar
